It may be hard to believe but it’s already Week 3 of the Book Oscars!

The category for Week 1 was, Teacher’s Top Tales and the three finalists were:

Sam’s Sandwich, Stuck and A Squash and A Squeeze.

In Week 2, the category was Patron’s Picks and the three finalists were:

This week, the category is Outstanding Oldies.  The books vying for a place in the final are: Where the Wild Things are, Five Minutes Peace, We’re going on a Bear Hunt, The Gruffalo and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

With only one category remaining, Classy Choices, the competition will end next week.

The winners will be revealed in our Book Oscar award ceremony on Friday 6th November at 2.30pm. Our fabulous Patron of Reading, Tamsyn Murray, will be hosting the event and all the children and adults will be dressed to impress!
